A place for vacation (Descriptive).

Adopt the peace of nature. Her secret is patience. By Ralph Waldo Emerson who was an American essayist, lecturer, and philosopher.

One of my favourite places for vacation is Baños because this city has many places to visit and you can feel the energy of nature entry to your body. Also, people have fun doing many activities here like rafting, zipping line and going lookouts, zoos, etc. I like one special sport which is rafting, I had an outstanding experience playing it. It has many stunning places and activities that you could visit or do when you want to have funnies moments and adventures. Those are my friends from University. In this picture, I am the one who is in the middle with a grey t-shirt and blue shorts. We went to Baños few years ago and had hilarious moments enjoying the different activities that you can do there.

It is the afternoon of December 15, 2017, and I am arriving to the tourism agency to start the trip with my friends to the Pastaza river for rafting. I am excited about rafting because I had never done it. We are starting rafting in a part of the river that looked like a lagoon, there the river is calm. We are starting to go down the river, the current grow stronger. I’m bouncing restlessly from place to place over the inflatable boat, trying to vent the tension building at my head because the current grow stronger. I can see many eddies forming in the water. Suddenly, we fall into one of the eddies and our inflatable boat turned. All of us fall into the river, and the adrenaline rises to the maximum. I can see the guide that turn the inflatable boat where we were, and he start to manage it. The guide is trying to help my friends to get on the inflatable boat. All of us have a life jacket, however many of my friends’ swallow water because they don't know how to swim well. If I didn't know how to swim well like my friends, I could swallow water.

I feel little scared because the river current is unmistakable strong in this part of the river. I am trying to get on another inflatable boat where is passing in front of me. I get on the other boat. The guide drives the inflatable boat where I was, next to the inflatable where I could get. I return to the boat. The guide starts to laugh from my classmates because one of them started to cry. She is undeniable scared, and she wants to get off of the boat. But we are in the middle of the journey down the river. It is so crazy my classmate is uncontrolled. We are feeling worried for her. The trip continues, we managed to calm her down, everybody is okay. The others on the inflatable boat are scared, less me and another friend. It could be because they haven't ever experienced that situation. I have so much adrenaline on my mind, in my body. It is a fantastic trip down the river. We arrive to the end of the rafting. Finally, I am exciting because it is an amazing experience. I could recommend people to do this activity and take precautions before doing this activity.

From my experience, Baños has many places and activities that you could visit or do when you want to have hilarious moments and adventures. There are places for fun where you can do activities like: drinking beer, eating whatever delicious things that you want, etc. People should go to Baños and live unforgettable experiences. I really recommend this place for stay in holidays. You should live and feel the nature in Baños, it is so fantastic. You could enjoy magical moments with the nature and feel free.

An exceptional trip to Tonsupa.

I used to travel to Tonsupa with my family or friends 3 or 4 times a year before the pandemic. We usually travel to an apartment that a relative has there. This trip started in Ambato two years ago. We planned with my uncle and cousin to travel with a group of friends, five men and four girls. It was a rewarding experience because we did many stunning things and had a hilarious moment. Planning trips with friends is a lovely thing that all people can do. Furthermore, we passed hilarious and outstanding moments sharing with our friends.

The trip was less tired than other times because there were five people who know how to drive including me. We travelled in two cars, and you know that drive a car is tired when is a long trip. We started the trip on Thursday at midnight and arrived at the apartment in Tonsupa at 7 am. Then, we set all our things at the apartment and rested for two hours before went to look for a place to have breakfast. I remember that we had breakfast at a restaurant named "Sazón Manaba" and there the food was delicious. Maybe, it could be because I have always liked the Manaba food since I was a child. I really love sea food.

Firstly, we rented some tents to stay on the beach, and playing music on a player that we carried. There, you know, we bought a lot of beer and snacks. We rested there for two hours, the seeing was outstanding. All of us could see the landscape and enjoy the moment. After that, we went swimming in the ocean. Here a hilarious moment happened. Two girls of our group hadn't known how to swim well and we didn't know that. The girls didn't say anything to us. Suddenly, small waves tackled and carried out them to the shore. We had to ran to pick up them and they said that have swallowed a lot of water. Then, they preferred to go to the tents, you know, they were annoyed. It was not our fault, but was hilarious the way how the waves tackled them. These were small waves hahaha, even a child could jump them. After, we went to have lunch in the same restaurant at 4 pm, we eat shrimps with garlic and they were delicious. Once we recover energy, we return to the tents and start to enjoy our stay on the beach.

Even though we were little drunk, we had energy to play volleyball and soccer on the beach. It was funny because many of us gave wrong passes during the whole soccer match, you can imagine that. It is really difficult to play in drunken state. And it also happened when we played volleyball. At night, not only we went to dance, but also we had drunk in the "Cobachas" until sunrise. Hahaha just kidding. We returned to the apartment at 3 am. The next few days we repeat almost the same activities at the same times. Furthermore, I could say that Tonsupa is a relaxing place to stay on holidays, you can do many activities to socialize and playing sports like swimming, playing soccer, volleyball, going to see whales or dolphins, etc. It is a beautiful place where you can enjoy outstanding moments, and you will remember these moments forever. On Sunday, we had planned to return to Ambato, but it was a little difficult because all of us were with "chuchaqui". We had to wait until noon to return. The returned trip was uneventful. There weren't many cars on the return way.

This experience was exciting because we enjoy a lot. We hadn't enjoyed in this way since we had our last high school trip in 6th course. Furthermore, I have to give you an advice. Any person on  a trip has to ask if there is any person in the group who doesn't know how to do any activity such as swimming to avoid any inconvenience hahaha.
